Another Rite Aid trip from last week

I did make it back to Rite Aid for a second trip last week. Sorry-- I forgot to post this! I wanted more Vitamin Water, and since the +Up Reward printed even though they didn't ring up on sale, I wanted to see if they would adjust the price since they didn't exclude any types in the ad. I went to the Cork St store and they were wonderful again!

The manager rang up a bottle of regular Vitamin Water, instead of Vitamin Water Zero- so that I could get the sale price instead of the regular price.

10 Vitamin Water- $1 each (get $1 +Up Reward for buying 5)
** $1 each PLUS 2 $1 +Up Rewards for buying 10**

$15.90 before coupons and discounts
-$5.90 Wellness Plus savings
-$6.38 previously earned +Up Rewards
=====================================
** $3.62 OOP PLUS $2 in +UP Rewards earned! **

Then it got even better-- since I showed her the receipt from the earlier in the week when I paid $1.27 a bottle, she said she'd give me 1 for free to make up for the $1.35 that I was overcharged... then she said she still owed me $.35 so she'd give me another one for $.65. So, I got 2 more bottles of Vitamin Water Zero for $.65 OOP!!

Total for everything pictured- 12 bottles of Vitamin Water Zero: $4.27 OOP!

Rite Aid Shopping

I made it to Rite Aid this morning--they were out of the Crest toothpaste that was on sale for $2.69 with a $2.69 +Up Reward, but they had the toothbrushes. I had $8.97 in +Up Rewards to use and figured that would be a great way to use them and get +Up Rewards back. I also saw they had Vitamin Water on sale for $1 with a $1 +Up Reward when you bought 5 and figured I'd buy more of that. I stopped drinking all sodas a couple weeks ago and am hooked on Vitamin Water Zero now...

2- Oral B Toothbrushes or Crest Outlast Toothpaste- $2.69 (get $2.69 +Up Reward)- limit 2
2- $1.00 off Oral B Toothbrush coupon from P&G mailer
** $1.69 each PLUS $2.69 +Up Reward for each one! **

5- Vitamin Water Zero- $1.27 each ($1.59 before 20% Wellness Plus discount)
** $1 +Up Reward for buying 5! **

For some reason, the Vitamin Water Zero did not ring up on sale- the manager said that it was only regular Vitamin Water on sale with the +Up Reward. I already had 5 at the register and I had enough +Up Rewards to pretty much cover them, so I figured I'd still buy 5 and just hope for the +Up Reward to still work. Sure enough, it did. I may call Rite Aid customer service on that one and see if they should have rang up at $1 also.... if they were $1, I'd definitely go back for more this week!

$15.93 before coupons and discounts
-$4.20 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$2.00 coupons
-$8.97 previously earned +Up Rewards
---------------------------------------
$.76 subtotal
+ $.32 tax
=======================================
** $1.08 OOP PLUS $6.38 more in +Up Rewards earned! **

Target Shopping

I made a couple trips to Target this week-- sorry it took me so long to get this posted. I had problems earlier this week getting pictures onto my computer- my new antivirus program wouldn't let me do anything! I can't find my receipt from one of my trips when I bought Q-tips and a printer cartridge... but I remembered the prices from the Q-tips so I'll post that one.

$57.72 before coupons and sales
-$26.00 coupons
-$3.91 sales and price drops
------------------------------
$27.81 subtotal
+ $2.08 tax
=============================
** $29.89 OOP! ** I'd say that's pretty good for $57.72 worth of goodies! I was quite surprised at this transactions because I ended up getting a little bit of overage on all the $.97 travel items because they didn't mark down my $1 coupons.

Q-Tips- get $5 Target gift card for buying 4! Works on all sizes!
1- Q-Tips 170 ct- $1.89
3- Q-Tips 375 ct- $2.39
** $9.06 OOP PLUS $5.00 gift card earned! ** No coupons needed! I would have bought all 4 packages of the 170 ct but my store only had one left.

Rite Aid shopping

I had +Up Rewards expiring this week and wanted to use them up. I had a $3 off $15 to use and figured I'd try for Colgate toothpaste which was free after +Up Rewards and buy Ziploc bags to make up the difference to get to $15. I went to the Cork St. store and they had one package of Colgate, so I picked that up and then got 4 boxes of Ziploc bags. That would not have brought my total quite to $15, so I grabbed 2 bubble wands which were BOGO. When I got to the register, I asked the cashier about getting a raincheck for the toothpaste- it was on sale for $2.99 with a $2.99 +Up Reward and I had $.75 off coupons.

The manager overheard me asking and volunteered to go in the back and check for more- and sure enough, she came out with an armful! The limit to the +Up Reward was 4, so I bought 4. I split the transactions, and if I would have been thinking (and if they weren't already rang up) I wouldn't have bought as many Ziploc bags, but still ended up getting a great deal. Plus, I used my expiring +Up Rewards, and managed earn more +Up Rewards to keep rolling the fun!

Transaction #1

2- Colgate toothpaste- $2.99 (get $2.99 +Up Reward!)
2- $.75 off coupons from 6/5 SS
** $2.24 OOP PLUS $2.99 +Up Reward for each one! **

4- Ziploc Bags- $2.50 sale (3 ended up ringing up at $2.39 with my Wellness Plus discount)
2- $1 off 2 coupons from 5/15 SS
** $1.89 each for 3, $2 for the other 1 **

2- Bubble Wands- $1.99 BOGO
** 2 for $1.99! **

$24.52 before coupons and discounts
-$6.88 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$8.00 previously earned +Up Rewards
-$3 off $15 survey coupon
-$3.50 coupons
-------------------------------
$3.14 subtotal
+ $.70 tax
===============================
** $3.84 OOP!! PLUS 2- $2.99 +Up Rewards earned! **

Transaction #2

2- Colgate toothpaste- $2.99 (get $2.99 +Up Reward!)
2- $.75 off coupons from 6/5 SS
** $2.24 OOP PLUS $2.99 +Up Reward for each one! **

$7.58 before coupons and discounts
-$1.60 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$1.50 coupons
-$2.99 previously earned +Up Reward
------------------------------------
$1.49 subtotal
+ $.26 tax
====================================
** $1.85 OOP PLUS another 2- $2.99 +Up Rewards earned! **

I was happy to get some more free toothpaste-- I had a moment of panic last week when I checked my stockpile and saw I 'only' had 2 tubes of toothpaste left. Toothpaste seems to be one of the easiest items to stockpile, so I feel like I'm always getting it and giving my freebies to friends and family. I hadn't realized that I was down to my last 2 tubes! Not anymore-- and next week there will be a free after +Up Reward for Crest, so hopefully I'll get some of that so I can get back to giving away my extras.

Rite Aid Shopping

I forgot to put one of my hubby's Father's Day gifts in the picture... we did 2 trips to Rite Aid this week. I didn't see any super deals, but I had some +Up Rewards to use by next week and I didn't see that much in next week's ad and figured I'd use some towards diapers & wipes. I had 2 more $3 off Huggies diapers coupons that were expiring.

Transaction #1

i-Tunes $25 gift card
$5 in ad coupon

** $20 for a $25 gift card!! **

Transaction #2

Huggies Diapers- $8.99
$3.00 off printable previously available
** $5.99 **

Huggies Wipes- $6.79 (get $1 +Up Reward) ~~ advertised at $6.99 but 20% Wellness Plus discount was higher
$1.00 off coupon from homemailer
** $5.79 PLUS $1.00 +Up Reward earned! **

I had a bit of a mixup at the register- I checked out at the pharmacy because I was picking up a prescription, and used more +Up Rewards than I planned. I was using

$42.47 before coupons and discounts
-$7.70 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$3.00 off $15 coupon
-$7.00 coupons
-$20.00 +Up Rewards
====================
$4.77 subtotal (my prescription was $10 but some of my +Up Rewards went towards that)
+ $1.31 tax
====================
$6.08
-$6.08 HSA account
====================
$0 OOP!! PLUS $1.00 +Up Reward earned!

I was in a hurry and a bit distracted by my boys who were messing with the cane display by the pharmacy and should have paid better attention to what I was doing. I was using my HSA for the prescription, so instead of wasting +Up Rewards on my prescription (which I didn't realize you could do), I would have used a different combination of +Up Rewards. Still a good trip overall though. Who can complain though when you don't pay anything for 2 packs of diapers and a pack of wipes?

Kelloggs deals at Meijer

I got a great deal on cereal last night at Meijer... I'll definitely be going back for more this week! We were getting pretty low on cereal.

A variety of Kelloggs cereals are $2.50 each this week at Meijer AND when you buy 4, you get $2.00 off instantly!!

Here's what I ended up buying- you can use the link for Kelloggs to print whichever coupons you need, or you can use the $1 off 3 coupon from the 6/5 SS or 5/15 RP.

2- Corn Pops
2- Rice Krispies
used
$1.00 off 2 Rice Kripies
2- $.70 off Corn Pops printable

$10.00- $2.40 coupons- $2.00 instant savings= $5.60 for FOUR big boxes of cereal!

PLUS, if you pick the right cereal, you can get a variety of rewards from Kelloggs, including a $5 gas card, $5 concession cash for the movies or a cool Cars 2 soccer ball! I have already ordered the soccer ball (my oldest son saw the picture and really wanted it!) from codes we got on Nutri Grain boxes a couple months ago. After you sign up, make sure to open any emails from Kelloggs- a few weeks ago I got an email with an extra bonus code.

I also had a $2 off $2 purchase coupon in my MPerks account to use, so I only ended up paying $3.60 for 4 boxes of cereal! If you haven't yet signed up for MPerks, sign up now! It's a great program to save even more at Meijer- and the coupons you "clip" are stackable with manufacturer coupons! All you need to have is a phone that can receive texts to sign up. Not only do you get normal coupons but you also get coupons like this one about once a month or so where it's $2 or $5 off your transaction.

I went for my last Rite Aid trip yesterday. I had already gotten my P&G $10 +Up Reward but got 2 more coupons for Secret deodorant and wanted to stock up while it was cheap and while I had +Up Rewards to use. I also found a couple more deals worth getting and picked them up too.

===============================
** $.96 OOP PLUS $7.00 more in +Up Rewards earned!

NOW, that's it, I'm done at Rite Aid for the week.... and now have to find a way to spend my $27.00 in +Up Rewards over the next 2 weeks.

Wednesday, June 8, 2011

I'd like to say this is my last Rite Aid trip, but...

I have one more Rite Aid trip left this week after this one- I have more coupons coming from a friend and once I get them I will go back.

I went to Rite Aid this morning- it went better. I needed $11.64 in Neutrogena- I got $14.38 and I needed $13.64 in Aveeno- I got $16.37. I had written down some examples of scenarios before I went in, and did pretty well keeping close to what I needed to spend to get the +Up Reward and getting things we use.

Transaction #1

4- Oral B Cross Action Power Toothbrush- $5.99 (get $2.99 +UP Reward- limit 4)
4- $3.00 off coupon from 6/5 P&G
** $2.99 OOP PLUS $2.99 +Up Reward! **

Envelopes $2.95 ($3.69 before Wellness Plus discount)- I needed envelopes and like the kind you don't have to lick, so yes, I paid more for these.

$35.65 before coupons and discounts
-$8.74 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$12.00 coupons
-$10.00 +Up Reward redeemed
-$3.00 off $15.00 survey coupon
-------------------------
$1.91 subtotal
+ $1.43 tax
=========================
$3.34 OOP PLUS 4- $2.99 +Up Rewards earned!

Transaction #2-

Neutrogena Pure Baby Face Stick- $7.99 ($9.99 before Wellness Plus 20% discount)
$2.00 off Neutrogena sun printable
$1.50 off in-ad coupon
** $4.49 **

** $5.29 **

$38.45 before coupons and discounts
-$7.70 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$13.50 coupons
-$15.00 +Up Reward redeemed
-------------------------
$2.25 subtotal
+ $1.85 tax
=========================
$4.10 OOP PLUS $10 Aveeno +Up Reward AND $10.00 Neutrogena +Up Reward earned!

Total for both transactions:

$74.09 before coupons and discounts
-$16.44 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$25.50 coupons
-$25.00 +Up Rewards redeemed
-$3.00 off $15.00 survey coupon
-----------------------------
$4.15 subtotal
+ $3.28 tax
=============================
** $7.44 OOP for everything!! **

So, I started out with $25 in +Up Rewards, and ended up spending $7.44 out of pocket and leaving with $31.96 in +Up Rewards. Not too bad! I was also happy because I went to the Cork St. store again (where they have been EXTRA nice and coupon friendly lately!) and was impressed that they had the in-ad coupons taped to the products all over the store and let me use multiple in-ad coupons in the same transations.

And another Rite Aid trip

Rite Aid shopping rarely goes as plannned! I went to Rite Aid (yes, again) yesterday because I was close to finishing up the spend $50, get $15 +Up Reward for skincare items and since there was also a spend $30 get $10 +Up Reward on Neutrogena and Aveeno I wanted to double dip. Well, I should have paid closer attention. I had a great scenario figured, and then when the +Up Reward did not print out, I realized that there were TWO separate spend $30 get $10 +UP Rewards- one for Neutrogena, and one for Aveeno. So, I finished up my $50 and got my $15 +Up Reward, but I was more than halfway to both the others. What do you do in that situation?? You figure out a couple more scenarios and go for both!

Transaction #1

Neutrogena Sport Face Lotion- $8.79 ($10.99 before Wellness Plus 20% discount)
$2.00 off Neutrogena sun printable
$1.50 off in-ad coupon
** $5.29 **

Aveeno Face Block- $8.79 ($10.99 before Wellness Plus discount)
$2.00 off printable
$1.50 off in-ad coupon
** $5.29 **

$21.98 before coupons and discounts
-$4.40 Wellness Plus savings
-$7.00 coupons
-$3.00 off $15.00 survey coupon
-$2.00 previously earned +Up Reward
-------------------
$5.58 subtotal
+ $.87 tax
===================
** $6.45 OOP **

Transaction #2

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Lotion- $9.59 ($11.99 before Wellness Plus 20% discount)
$2.00 off Neutrogena sun printable
$1.50 off in-ad coupon
** $6.09 **

Aveeno Baby Wash- $4.79 ($5.99 before Wellness Plus discount)
$1.00 off printable
$1.50 off in-ad coupon
** $2.29 **

Aveeno Lotion- $2.79 ($3.49 before Wellness Plus discount)
$2.00 off printable from Recyclebank
$1.50 off in-ad coupon (marked down to $.79 so no overage)
** FREE **

$21.47 before coupons and discounts
-$4.30 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$8.79 coupons
-$3.00 off $15.00 survey coupon
-----------------
$5.38 subtotal
+ $.85 tax
=================
** $6.23 OOP **

$43.45 before coupons and discounts
-$8.70 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$15.79 coupons
-$6.00- 2- $3 off $15 survey coupons
-$2.00 previously earned +Up Rewards
---------------------------
$10.96 subtotal
+ $1.72
===========================
** $12.68 OOP **

And then comes the GASP and the look of surprise... and the +Up Reward doesn't print and I realize why... and back home for recalculating and a fresh start tomorrow.

I just really screwed up this time.... I had a $10 +Up Reward I could have used to lower my OOP but since I separated my transactions I couldn't. I ended this trip with $25 in +Up Rewards to spend, $13.64 away from the Aveeno $10 +Up Rewards, and $11.64 away from the Neutrogena +Up Reward.

So much fun at Rite Aid!

Rite Aid can be frustrating, but it is fun when things work out! I went to 2 stores on 2 different days.... I wanted to take advantage of the Veet moneymaker, but the first store I went to only had one. I bought it, hoping that it would track through the Wellness card. It didn't. But, I had a very nice manager at the second store I went to who was willing to "return" both and "purchase" both together in one transaction so that I could get my +UP Reward. It made it a bit more complicated, but it worked out in the long run!

Here's what I ended up getting:

Veet- $5.19 ($6.49 before Wellness Plus discount)- buy 2, get $5 +Up Reward!
$2.00 off printable
$2.00 in-ad coupon
** $1.19 OOP **

Target shopping too!

I had a few things to pick up at Target today. I wanted to post this to show you a couple things. First of all, you can get decent deals and freebies at Target, if you're not ready to jump into drugstore shopping. Second, I do occasionally buy things without a coupon-- I was just talking to a cousin this morning about if I ever pay full price, and the answer is YES. I paid full price for several things- and I even bought something that I think I have a coupon for somewhere but I didn't bring it with me and I still bought it!

Here are the highlights of my trip:

2- Nexcare Kids bandaids 20 ct- Shrek or Strawberry Shortcake $1.87
$1.00 off 2 Nexcare
2- $1.00 off Nexcare kids bandaids Target printable
** $.37 each! **
~~ I had actually printed a $1 off Nexcare coupon a few weeks ago, which is no longer available, so I got both of these for FREE-- but if you need bandaids I thought you might want to stockup for $.37! ~~

20- Vitamin Water- $1 each BUY 10, get free 6 pk Smart Water
4- $1.00 off 5 Vitamin Water coupons
** $.80 each for the Vitamin water PLUS 2- 6pks of Smart Water= $.50 per bottle!! **

$59.37 before coupons and discounts
PAID $34.79 OOP

I paid FULL PRICE for Up brand's children's Zyrtec, Crayola colored pencils, hand sanitizer AND a coloring book from the dollar spot. I was planning on buying a small bottle of hand sanitizer for $1.89- but when I was that it was 8 oz, and for $4.59 I could buy 32 oz, I figured I'd just use the big bottle as a refill. Sometimes it's better to buy smaller, but times like this it isn't! I am pretty sure I have a Up brand hand sanitizer coupon printed somewhere, but I have a big coupon mess right now and didn't bring them in with me.

More Rite Aid shopping

Yes, I did it. I went back to Rite Aid for more sunscreen. I like having several bottles of sunscreen- one for home, one for daycare, one for the car, one to leave on the boat, etc. So, I'm happy to stockup now while it's close to free. I normally just buy traditional sunscreen lotions, but because it's so cheap I figured I'd get some of the spray lotion.

Banana Boat Sunscreen- Buy one, get one FREE- the one I picked was $10.99
$1.00 off from 5/22 SS
$2.00 off Video Values coupon
** $7.99 for 2!! PLUS counts towards the skincare spend $50, get $15 +Up Reward **

Coppertone Suncare- $8.99 sale (Wellness Plus 20% discount made this $7.99)- get $2 +Up Reward
$1.00 off coupon from 5/22 RP
$1.00 off Video Values coupon
** $5.99 OOP PLUS $2.00 +UP Reward earned! AND counts towards the skincare spend $50, get $15 +Up Reward **
**

$31.97 before coupons and discounts
-$12.99 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$3 off $15 survey coupon
-$10 +Up Reward redeemed
-$5.00 coupons
=========================
** $.98 subtotal! **
+ $.96 tax
=========================
** $1.94 OOP! AND I earned another $2 in +UP Rewards PLUS now I'm only $11.25 away from "spending" $50 to earn the $15 skin care +UP Reward! I'll be starting next week with another $3 off $15 survey coupon, plus $4 in +Up Rewards... so I should hit that $50 pretty easily!

Lots of Rite Aid shopping!

I took a couple trips to Rite Aid this week- I made it to two stores to make sure I didn't clear any shelves... and despite a bit of a screwup (I ended up having a higher OOP because I forgot to use a $10 +UP Reward- it was in my hand and I didn't realize it until after I paid), I ended up with some good deals. I'm not going to break this down by transaction, but I'll list the matchups I used. I did get a couple friends who don't have kids in diapers to give me their Rite Aid Video Values coupons (and their Twizzlers coupons too!) and my cashiers did not have a problem with me using those.

Raid Ant- $4.23 (with Wellness Plus 20% discount)

*** $36.83 OOP! PLUS $12 left in +UP Rewards to spend ***

Now, that should have been $10 less out of pocket... but I had a complete brain freeze at the checkout- and I didn't even have my kids with me! So, I might have raised my OOP, but I still have another $12 left in +Up Rewards.

I might go back for one more trip-- I am pretty stocked on kids sunscreen but would get a couple more adult sunscreens- I have more coupons and can get close to the $50 to earn the $15 +Up Reward.... we'll see what tomorrow brings!

Walgreens Shopping

I did end up getting some good deals at Walgreens, but had lots of problems there this week. It really reinforces the Walgreens overpricing conspiracy theory... if you don't pay attention, you can pay more. Do they know that most of their customers are in a hurry and are not paying attention and that's why they have so many pricing issues? You definitely have to watch closely and make sure everything scans right and know what Register Rewards you should get...

Transaction #1

Dove Men's Deodorant- $3.99 (get $3 RR)
$1.00 off printable previously available
** $2.99 OOP PLUS $3 RR! **

Nestle Skinny Cow Candy- $.69
$.15 off coupon from May coupon booklet in store
** $.54-- great filler item! **

$5.88 before coupons and discounts
-$1.20 sales
-$1.15 coupons
-$3.00 RR redeemed
==================
$.53 subtotal
+ $.24 tax
==================
$.77 OOP PLUS $3 RR earned!

The Dove deodorant RR did not print... I clearly bought what was in the ad, so the manager tried to ring one up with no coupons- still no RR... then he found something else in the ad that generated a $3 RR and rang that item up, gave me the RR, then returned the item. I thought that was pretty nice of him to do and it was much easier than having to call the Catalina company and request one!

Transaction #2 (different store)

Gillette Fusion Razor Kit- $9.99 (get $5 RR!)
$4.00 off coupon from 5/1 P&G
** $5.99 OOP PLUS $5.00 RR earned! **

$9.99 before coupons and discounts
-$4.00 coupons
==============
$5.99
+$.60 tax
==============
** $6.59 OOP PLUS $5 RR earned! **

Transaction #3

** Buy Nabisco Grahams and Hersheys Chocolate, get FREE marshmallows! **
2- Nabisco Graham Crackers- $3.00
2- Hershey's Milk Chocolate 6 pk- $3.00 each
4- Marshmallows- $1.99 each
-(2) $1.00 off when you buy grahams, chocolate & marshmallow coupon from 5/15 SS
-(2) FREE (up to $1.25) marshmallows when you buy grahams & chocolate printable coupon (click FREE marshmallow cloud!)
-(2) FREE marshmallows automatic discount from Walgreens for buying grahams & chocolate
-$1.00 Walgreens May coupon booklet when you buy 2 Hersheys Chocolate
** $10.48 for everything!! **

$22.52 before coupons and discounts
-$2.56 sales
-$3.98 FREE marshmallows automatic discount
-$5.50 coupons
-$8.00 RR redeemed
====================
** $2.48 OOP FOR all the SMORES STUFF! **

I definitely did some strategizing for this trip... I wasn't planning on buying another razor, but I knew I was going to pay some OOP, so I figured I might as well get another razor since I could use that RR towards the next transaction. After the last transaction was done, I looked at the receipt and realized I had been overcharged for the grahams and Hersheys, so I got the money back right away. Even though the sale was clearly marked by signage, they all rang up at $3.50 instead of $3.00, so I got $2 back making the deal shown. Always pay attention!! I'm definitely learning how to work the RR program. It's a pain, but you can get some good deals.

So, I spend a total of $9.84 for everything in the picture!! I'm happy with that!

Great Rite Aid shopping trip!

I got my coupons together last night and checked the Rite Aid ad to figure out a good scenario to get diapers this week. Yes, I did buy diapers at Walgreens last week, but I got Pampers and my son already got more of a rash after a couple days... so we'll be using about 1-2 of those a day and will have to stick with Huggies no matter how cheap I find Pampers.

This week there is a $5 +Up Reward when you spend $20 in advertised Huggies diapers. I wasn't sure if all Huggies products were included or just the advertised sizes, so I stuck with the advertised sizes.

Transaction #1

3- Huggies Diapers jumbo pack- $9.59 (regular price is $11.99 and I have 20% Wellness discount which made the diapers cheaper than the advertised price of $10)
3- $3.00 off printable coupons
** $6.59 each PLUS $5 +Up Reward earned! **

2- Oral-B Cross Action toothbrush- $2.99 (get $2 +Up Reward!)
2- $1.50 off Oral-B Cross Action (and others) toothbrush from 5/1 P&G
** $1.49 OOP PLUS $2 +Up Reward earned! **

$45.95 before coupons and discounts
-$11.20 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$12.00 coupons
-$3.00 off $15.00 survey coupon
-$20.00 previously earned +Up Rewards
==================
** -$.25 subtotal!! I'm not sure how this happened because I thought my subtotal was higher when I handed over my last coupon but it worked **
+$1.91 tax
==================
** $1.66 OOP PLUS $9 in +Up Rewards earned! **

Transaction #2

Huggies Diapers jumbo pack- $9.59 (regular price is $11.99 and I have 20% Wellness discount which made the diapers cheaper than the advertised price of $10)
$3.00 off printable coupons
** $6.59 **

Huggies wipes- $8.99 (sale price)
$.50 off wipes coupon from 5/15 SS
** $8.49 **

$23.98 before coupons and discounts
-$5.40 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$3.50 coupons
-$9.00 +Up Rewards redeemed (from first transaction)
====================
** $6.08 subtotal **
+ $1.11 tax
====================
** $7.19 OOP!! PLUS another $5 +UP Reward earned!! **

So, in all I ended up spending $8.85 OOP- which is less than I would pay for ONE package of diapers- and I got FOUR packages of diapers AND a big box of wipes PLUS two toothbrushes!! And, I still have another $5 +Up Reward left!

When I went through my coupons last night I discovered I had printed a bunch of $2 off Huggies diapers coupons that expire in the next couple days. I made sure to keep them separate today and I was the coupon fairy at Centre St today! I left about 10- $2.00 off coupons for others to use!

Rite Aid Shopping

I did manage to make it to Rite Aid twice this week... just a few days late with the first picture after Blogger went down. Nothing major at Rite Aid, but I earned a couple +Up Rewards that I will be using for diapers and deals next week.

Transaction #1 (Monday)
My hubby was headed to Florida on Tuesday so I had to get him some sunscreen-- luckily I knew there was a deal at Rite Aid!

** GET $10 +UP Reward when you spend $20 in select skincare! **

Neutrogena Sunscreen- $9.99 & $9.59 (apparently my Wellness Plus 20% discount was better than the sale price)
2- $2.00 off printable previously available on Redplum
** $7.99 & $7.59 OOP **

Lubriderm Lotion- $1.99 ($2 off instantly)
$1.00 off coupon from 4/10 RP
** $.99 **

$28.97 before coupons and discounts
-$7.40 Wellness Plus savings and sales
-$5.00 off coupons
-$6.76 off previously earned +Up Rewards
-$3.00 off $15.00 survey coupon
** $6.81!! **
+ $1.11 tax
====================
** $7.92 OOP PLUS $2.00 +UP Reward earned! **

Transaction #2 (Saturday)

On a whim this morning I figured I'd stop and see if Rite Aid still had any Tylenol Precise left in stock- it's a good moneymaker and I figured they'd be out. I couldn't believe that on a Saturday morning they still had some in stock! I was able to get the big moneymaker!

5- Tylenol Precise Heat Patch- $5.00 (spend $25 get $10 +UP Reward!!)
5- $5.00 off printable or from 5/8 SS (expires today!)
** FREE!! PLUS $10 MONEYMAKER after +Up Reward! **

Mickey Mouse cup- $3.99 (w/ Wellness Plus 20% discount)

$44.94 before coupons and discounts
-$25.00 coupons
-$3.00 off $15.00 survey coupon
** $.99 **
+ $1.56 tax
=================
** $2.55 OOP PLUS $10 +UP Reward earned!! **

I didn't plan on buying the Mickey Mouse cup but I had another $3 off $15 survey coupon and I figured I might as well use the opportunity to get a new cup. Plus, my youngest has a thing about Mickey Mouse and it made him really happy! I'd say it was a great week at Rite Aid-- I have $20 in +Up Rewards to spend next week, which I will have no problem using next week! I have the ad and am getting my list together for tomorrow. I was very happy to see the diaper aisle at the Centre St store was VERY well stocked for the Huggies sale starting tomorrow!
