I really like putting together a summary of my monthly shopping at Rite Aid. Before I started shopping at Rite Aid, I'd spent about $20-$30 a week at Target for household and personal care items that I now get at Rite Aid... now my out of pocket is less and I get rebates!

Sunday Coupon Preview

Remember- the coupons vary by region- the Detroit Free Press usually has better coupons than the Kalamazoo Gazette. It's a P&G insert week-- I always get multiple copies when it's a P&G week... Rite Aid... again

I couldn't resist going back to Rite Aid yesterday. My mom was $.01 away from spending $25.00 in oral care purchases to get the $10.00 rebate versus the $5.00 rebate, so I figured I'd get another toothpaste to get her the $10.00 rebate... and, my store had told me that they get their weekly shipment in Wednesday afternoon and may have more diapers. I apparently wasn't the only one trying for diapers-- when I asked if they had gotten more Pure & Natural in they said that people had been opening their boxes and taking them out themselves and they probably didn't have any left. They went through a couple boxes for me and found 2 packages of size 5! Then they found a size 2-- I figured I'd just get that since I'll be needing several new baby gifts in the next couple months.

Swag Bucks- Start now for Christmas shopping!!

Swag Bucks is a website that rewards you for doing your everyday internet searching. I joined in February and have earned over $100 in Amazon.com gift certificates.

Go here to join, and start earning Swag Bucks that you can redeem for prizes- I really like the $5 Amazon.com gift card, but there are lots of other good prizes- there is a $5 Red Envelope gift card for only 140 Swag Bucks. Amazon does great deals around Christmas so I'm trying to stop spending my gift cards and save up for Christmas deals for my kids.

You earn points just for joining and then earn points every day by using them to do your regular searches. Instead of typing in a website, you can just type it into Swag Bucks and earn points! I always type the sites I'm going to into the Swag Bucks search box and usually win points 2-4 times per day.

If you're already a member, earn points daily by viewing their special offers (you don't have to sign up for anything- just skip thru them to earn a point at the end), taking the daily poll and checking to see if you have any new surveys. I haven't earned many points for surveys lately, but in one day a couple months ago I earned over 500 Swag Bucks for 2 surveys that took me less than 10 minues! I think that even if you don't qualify for a survey, if you go in to start it you get another Swag Buck. You also get points for taking the different survey profiles and the different points are listed on the survey dashboard screen.

It's simple, it's free- all you do is sign in and use their search box and you earn points! They also do extra codes and Swag Bucks hunts to earn even more.

Let me know if you have questions- I was real hesitant when I signed up but it's easy and it gets me more free stuff!

Here's a $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon that's a pdf good through 10/31/10. PDF files mean you can print as many as you need!! I'd save the coupon so if Rite Aid pulls it from their site you still have it.
I'll definitely be using this one through the end of October and saving the redplum ones from last week for after this expires since the redplum coupons are good through 12/31/10.

I've crossed the line...

I've now crossed the line to being a crazy couponer... This morning felt like the day after Thanksgiving for diapers at Rite Aid. I got up early, showered, loaded the kids into the van and headed to Rite Aid when then opened at 8 to get their great diaper deals! I went to Centre St. and bought what I could there and then figured as long as we were out and about we might as well check and see what the Milwood store had this morning...

I was happy that I wasn't the only couponer out this morning-- there were several others at the Milwood store taking advantage of the great diaper deals, including Heather from Spectacular Savings! I figured I'd run into her on one of my Rite Aid trips.

The SUPER deal this week at Rite Aid is if you spent $25 in Kimberly Clark products, you get a $10 SCR... And, Huggies diapers are on sale for $8.99 with a $2.00 +Up Reward. Making Progress!

I stuck with my plan and spent quite a bit of time this evening working on my coupon binder. I'm almost done-- I have 2 more sections that are sorted- I just need to put them into the baseball inserts.

Here's what I started with over the weekend...

a BIG stack of printed coupons that needed to be cut and sorted!

So tonight I started out with an almost empty binder and a big stack of coupons...





Now they're all organized and most of them are put in the inserts in the binder. I have 2 more sections to finish... I could have stayed up longer and put the rest in, but I have a bunch of diaper and wipes coupons expiring this week that I don't feel like filing just to take them back out.

Sorry the pictures are sideways... for some reason when I uploaded them they uploaded weird and I'm too tired to mess with them!




It's always fun to go through stacks of coupons and see what I've clipped. Hopefully I'll get some time tomorrow night to do a little more clipping of some more inserts I got and finally be caught up! I'll also get my Rite Aid shopping trips posted tomorrow...

I need your help!

I have been trying for weeks to get my coupons all clipped and organized again. I am slowly making progress, but need to finish the project. I have most of my printables cut in stacks but I have not yet gotten around to getting them into the binder.

Please help me by posting comments of disappointment tomorrow if I haven't posted pictures of my well-organized binder! I have to get this thing back in order!

How do you organize your coupons? Have you started using a binder yet? My only complaint with the binder is if you get a couple weeks behind (or months!) it takes some time to get it reorganized.

There are suppose to be several coupon inserts this weekend so I need to be ready for more coupons!

I still need to finish up my oral care rebate- I'm $1-something away from $25 in oral care purchases so I need to make sure I get that finished in the next week or so.
